Jimmy Jacobs  is a Grand Rapids, Michigan native. In 1999, at the age of 15, Jimmy began working in the professional wrestling business.  He most notably performed in Ring of Honor for 10 years where he was a 5-time Ring of Honor tag team champion.

In 2015, Jimmy left the independent wrestling scene to write on the creative team for WWE. During his time there, Chris Jericho has credited Jimmy for inventing the List of Jericho.

In 2017, Jimmy returned to in-ring action, and now he currently writes and produces for IMPACT! Wrestling.

Jimmy also conducts professional wrestling seminars which include character development and promo instruction to wrestlers at all levels.

Serendipitously, on May 1, 2019, twenty years after his professional wrestling debut, Jimmy launched his podcast: Jimmy Jacobs Doesn't Know
